Yes, we practiced the scenes today. However, the group I am in will have to perform twice if that is okay...since I didn't have a group to begin with.

I managed to get through about half of what was on your paper, mainly because I only had 5 minutes to look over it. We also went over transferring data to a computer.

The substitute left me no notes or anything. I'm sitting in front of my computer right now. Yeah, I know, Becky already yelled at me. Was anyone absent first period? Fourth period? Matt, will you finish in the morning? I'm not crazy about those quiz grades in first period. Did he remind you to bring cameras? I hate missing school.

Going to jump in on the computer memory amount/speed thing, the 800/1066 and the amount of memory it sees aren't related. The 800/1066 relates to the speed of the memory bus. If you can match the Front Side Bus speed of your processor with the memory speed you avoid bottlenecks. If the memory bus speed is slower than the processor FSB speed you end up creating a bottleneck.

With respect to the systems only seeing 3.25 GB under a 32 bit OS when 4 GB of RAM is installed, what you are running into is the limited address space of a 32 bit operating system. A 32 bit operating system is limited to 4 GB of address space, and it also needs to address the various other devices such as video cards, sound cards etc. It hands those address out starting at the highest address and working its way down, and where the memory amount starts to overlap those addresses you can't utilize that memory, depending on your exact configuration where this line is will vary, for example my work computer with 4 GB of RAM shows in Windows as having 3.45 GB. A 64 bit operating system has a larger address space to work with and as a result the conflict between memory and other devices is avoided. A possible workaround is to use the /PAE switch in your boot string, however this can introduce problems of its own and the level of support for it on Windows XP Home and Professional is somewhat questionable, its more for the Server side operating systems.

P.S. U2, three guys playing an instrument, and one singing well enough to be a fourth instrument. Now, that's a band.
