PUPPET SHOWS! FINAL THOUGHTS
Hello,
Well, the stage look exponentially better. Thanks to all who have helped. Thanks to Lori and others for staying after. Lori was the last to leave, other than Sara(h?) and Mandy. That's why I mention her by name. Thanks for the cookies Jessica, and yes, thanks for the unused pudding. Anyway, for tomorrow...
1. You need to be here by six.
2. You will perform for a grade tomorrow. Part of the grade will include "set up" and "tear down" time. If you didn't evaluate today, you will need to evaluate tomorrow.
3. I will give you the official order of the shows tomorrow.
4. You need to get the refreshments here in the morning!
5. As soon as you arrive to class, make sure you sign the list of jobs for the evening. Just so you can know what they are, I will list them:
A. Lights and Sound (2) (Already filled)
B. Ushering (4)
C. Server (8)
D. Donation Table (1)
E. Food Preparation (2) Mandy and Beth are in charge.
G. Garbage Monkey [End of Show] (4)
H. Indentured Servant (1) Unless Jackie wants the job
I. Chair Monkeys [Before and After] (4)
6. No one leaves tomorrow night until I say so....I'm guessing that eight will be about right.
7. We dismantle, rearrange, etc. on Wednesday during class. Joe will teach his lesson on Wed.
On a separate note, I talked to Kristina last night, and she appears to be doing better. She claimed that it was very hard because it didn't seem real. She's a bit shaken, but she's resolved to see this through. I know that she pondered coming home, for awhile, but she changed her mind. I think that it's better for her to stay.
As I told her, in truth, you probably are in the SAFEST campus in the nation. Prior to the shooting, that probably wasn't true. However, after the shooting, I'm sure that there are more police around than you can begin to imagine. She agreed with that.
Secondly, the shooting wasn't random. The gunman, who is still at large, was not randomly shooting into the crowd. He knew the men that he was shooting. They were targets, not random victims. Thus, Kristina and Heather appeared to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Anyway, I know that both would appreciate your prayers as they try to deal with their fears. I'm sure that both would love an e-mail or call from you. I just wanted to keep everyone up to date.
Please do a better job tomorrow, especially the NARRATORS!!!!! Thanks. Word.
