Puppet Thoughts...
Since you have a day off tomorrow, I thought I would try to get all of this out to you via the BLOG. Let's see if it works. For your puppet shows, here are some thoughts to consider:
1. You have two rehearsals prior to public performance, so you need to be prepared. On Wednesday, you will receive constructive criticism. You WILL perform whether you're ready or not.
2. Puppeteers must wear LONG-SLEEVE shirts, particularly black.
3. Scripts are placed on clipboards behind the stage. If you're trying to think of how to hold your script. Stop! It's covered.
4. We won't be using microphones on Wednesday, but we need to use them on Friday. Thus, I will need help in putting the sound in place.
5. Storytellers, or narrators, whatever you want to be called, should be practicing their Readers Theatre skills. I will go crazy on you!
6. The lighting board, try not to laugh, must be taken from the booth, and it must be placed on side stage.
7. Assuming that we get the scaffolding on Wednesday, we will need to be completely assembled by Thursday.
8. We will need to paint on Friday, no matter what! That will have to occur after school.
9. The first grade wants to come on Monday at 1:30. That will be 85 kids sitting on stage. Start checking with your teachers for availability.
10. Since at least one group is using music, I will need a sound and light operator for this "production."
That's it for now. Let's see if this information makes the rounds. I will verify it by whomever has long-sleeve shirts on Wednesday!!!!

Ok Bair...thats alot of info, but i think i got it. long sleeve shirts,no mics wednesday,clipboards, 1:30 monday little kids (I love little kids),our group would be the one with music right?, what else needs to be painted?, Ha Ha...moving the lighting board. Ok i think i got it.
I am sorry again about today. I feel so bad, Bair. I guess since i get out of your class to help them, i can get out of aiding for you.

ok! but i dont know if i own a long sleeve black tee... oh well i'll work it out. o yeah, if we have a black shirt and black gloves, could we hold our puppets? **just asking incase there is an alumminum rod malfunction**
i can do the light bored...sniffle...so...right.
and also do you need lots of people to stay after school on friday?
I don't know yet. It very much depends on how quickly or slowly the stage is built. Any news Will?

You can count me in to set up and/or run sound. Is it possible for a group to stay afterschool in the Auditorium and have some practice time? I'm afraid we haven't rehearsed yet

Staying after Friday... Got it. Don't feel bad, Ana, our group hasn't rehearsed (with puppets) either.
