P.S. However, there are some stipulations, which are not too rigid at all. Secondly, they suggested we check with another ship that they believe fits all of our needs better. However, they greatly reduced the fees, and none of the stipulations are what I would call rigid by any means. This is a huge blessing. It looks like we can't get there until the end of March though. We'll keep pursuing the other ship; however, it is really exciting to know that at least we can get started on the era, etc! PTL!!!!

Lauran, if you visit, here is the link for the ship they highly recommended. Apparently, this ship will actually sail with us and is a bit more hands on. It's in Wilmington, DE, which is not much more than a 2-3 drive on a bus. Honestly, if there is more flexibility, we should pursue it. I am only posting it here so that there is no chance I can lose the information. Thanks.

YAY!! That makes me so excited. Will I need to call the one in Wilmington this weekend? Also are we going to forget about Phil? I seriously danced around my house when I heard this. I'm going to check out the other ship now.
You can call Monday, unless your glee has you motivated and someone is actually there!

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Are you going to build a replica of this ship or are you actually gonna use it in the production? Cuz if it's the latter, I can't imagine Baltimore would just give up one of its biggest tourist attractions so a high school theatre department in Podunkland can use it in their spring play. But if that's what you plan to do, then whatever floats your boat.
By the way, pun completely intended.
Oh Dad rehearsals this week:
Monday, Feb. 28 3:31 - 4:58 Scene 2
Tuesday, Mar. 1 3:31 - 5:37 Scene 1
Wednesday, Mar. 2 3:31 - 4:58 Scene 3
Thursday, Mar. 3 3:31 - 5:37 Scene 1
Chris we're filming on the ship. Not taking it to the auditorium.
My favorite response ever Sam....

What is the purpose of a ship like that anyway? Why do tax payers help fund those kind of projects anyway? Besides, we have to pay for it. Ironically, I do need to find a replica now!

EVERYONE. I KNOW YOU'RE WAITING FOR CASTING. HOWEVER, I DON'T HAVE A PROSPERO OR CALIBAN YET, SO I REALLY DON'T CAN'T POST A CAST. I'M GOING TO RATTLE THE CAGES OF SOME BOYS TOMORROW, AND THAT SHOULD BE IT.

Thank you :)
I'm not sure how well film and live theater would mix, but sure why not.
And I think history should be preserved, and the government is the best way to fund it bec ause private donors only donate so much.
