The Double Casting Dilemma

Hello....I have been trying to answer the proliferation of e-mails that have suggested double casting to me, and it hit me that it would be easier to explain it here. Double casting is, in the most honest terms I can express, double work for a director. It is done, regardless of pain and suffering,to allow as many people as possible to experience lead roles. I'll continue to utilize whenever necessary, but it won't be used in this case.

It would be horribly unfair and unrealistic to ask Alora to deal with a double cast, and all of the goodies that come with it. She has a large enough challenge in front of her. I know that many of you are disappointed, and with four female parts, that is to be expected. You should talk to me about the specifics of your situation though. Double casting just isn't the answer at this point in time.

Mr. Bair,

I tried to email you, although I'm not sure if that worked. Did you get Ms. Keyfauver's email?

hmmmm.... how exactly am I supposed to edit the movie without the computer?

this is Matthew at this point, I wanted the Leviathon because I wanted to re-edit Echoes of the Mind because I am submitting into the sundance film festival come February.

Ummm....I don't have an answer for that right this second. The computer's will be completely tied up until this movie is finished. We have an external hard drive and could send the files to you that way. However, it all depends on school occurring etc....

Hang on.....I'm replacing a window and can't stop. Besides...why not leave a message? I don't answer the phone if I don't know the sender! I'm almost finished. I'll call back.

There is no school tomorrow, but if I could get a computer, I'd be willing to edit as much as I can (although I'm still unsure of how much that would be...) over break.
