Memorial Day....and....REMINDERS

Yes...it's me...with a new....post.......

First of all, try to remember that Memorial Day was created to honor those who fought for our freedoms. It's a day off, and I love that too. However, try to remember those who died or are currently in the line of fire. We should never take a freedoms for granted.

Secondly, we have a busy week on the horizon. On Thursday, we're traveling to Fountaindale Elementary School to help the little ones perform their play. We are also visiting on Wednesday to prepare the play. We leave the school lot at 4:00 p.m. Please remember to have your parents write a permission for transportation.

Finally, we are having a film festival on Saturday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $3 per person. We believe that we'll have about two hours worth of material. At 9:00, we're going to show "Corneliatron 5" and alumni movies. Please attend, and please feel free to stay to watch the alumni films. Otherwise, our time is dwindling. Stay focused!

I am still very interested in helping with the children, but Wednesday is the "first annual Boonstock" rehearsal/auditions and actual event.(If I convince the bands to place their amps in front of the mics, would that help in avoiding the soundboard explosion that I fear?) Is there anyway I could still assist with Fountaindale, even if it means being a tree? Or supplying them with juice or whatever it is young children drink?

what do you mean by permission for transportation? have our parents write a note that says we can ride with a student?

Ah, i had forgotten about Boonstock this wednsday as well, I was hoping to perform in it. As an acting coach im sure I can handle doing it on that day, but as for the sound, that may require me to do some stuff before that day if I can't be there.

Any thoughts as to how this could work would be helpful, thanks!

For those of you who can't go on Wednesday, it will be OK. For everyone else, I just wanted you to get a note saying that it was OK to ride with me or a student.
