I'm Out of Isolation

Yes, it was strep throat, and yes, Mandy, after about three antibiotics, I can swallow again. I'll never stop being amazed at how one can be healthy one minute and miserably ill the next. Of course, this semester, that seems to be the rule rather than the exception.

Now, to business, I need the Parson, Caius, Falstaff, and Quickly(s) on Monday night. Next Saturday, I need everyone who sings a song in this show to attend the evening rehearsal. We will try to mix the singing with live band then. In class on Monday, we will check costumes.

Would someone please update the progress made on dances on Friday. Sarah did her best, but she doesn't exactly know how far along they should be. I also need Mandy to contact me immediately.

MjB

P.S. I'm still desperately searching for a sound person. Do we have any leads????

Mr. Bair,

While I would love to help you out with this sound person problem of yours I am sadly in Arizona for a long, long time.... Otherwise I would be there to help.... Hope all goes well....

Mr. Bair, I'm emailing you, I don't have the shirt stuff with me so I can't really talk to you about it, but I believe we're around forty shirts. I'm emailing you now.

Mr. Bair why don't we bring Jacob in to work the audio if he can? I not sure how good he is with audio but he ran the "Lend Me a Tenor" audio so he may be of some use.

Two things:

Mandy,

Where were you Friday afternoon? I needed to turn in my T-shirt stuff(and still do).

Mr. Bair,

When you say Monday night, do you mean 3:45-5:30, or 6:30-8:30, or both? A similar question applies to next Saturday (my family had plans for Saturday night, so I will need to know times in the not-to-distant future in order to figure out what to do.

Thanks,

Ian

PS: Please know I am doing all I can. I will be wherever you need me, and whenever, if possible.

To whoever can help me in this regard,

I need a schedule desperately. On the subject of trying to figure out my scheduling fiasco, it is crucial that I know times as far in advance as possible. Someone PLEASE make a photocopy for me or something because I need to know when to be at rehearsals and until what time.

Thanks, and sorry for the trouble,

Ian

mr. bair,

the dances are looking better. we worked on bad, fat and burning love. we started rehearsing bad and fat without stopping in between the 2. for burning love, we worked on the steps, now we need to assign partners. i think thats it, but i could be missing something.......

No Joe, Cody(being me) ran the "Lend Me a Tenor" audio. Jacob ran a powerpoint and is doing track so even though he knows(or should know) how to work sound, he would rarely show up if needed(based on my previous observations). I would love to do audio, but I am acting;however, if you do indeed desperately need someone and no one else can, I suppose I could volunteer. but for now I stick to acting.

Does this include the back-up singers for next Saturday?

1:52 AM
Blogger Mr. Bair said...

Yoy....no backups....I need an experienced sound person, and no, Cody is staying an actor.

As for Ian getting a schedule, I gave one last week for the remainder of this show, and I brought them down to the auditorium. I assumed you received one. Can someone scan it and send it to Ian? Sorry Ian...it should have been given to you.

I need you on Monday night. I can let Nick and you go first, so you can be gone by 7:30. In fact, I think I scheduled it that way. Help...does anyone have the schedule on them.

Sorry Ian, I was in the prop and chorus room, no worries, we're ordering them Monday, but in case I don't see you before you order them, could you please post on here the size and color you want? that way I'll have it for sure.

Mr.Bair, currently at the moment, I cannot stay after tomorrow due to my parents having work again(I miss having my truck). I am currently seeking any rides home tomorrow(if thats good grammar). This problem will become extinct as soon as I find a vehicle.

Would you like me to swing by and show you in class, or wait until a rehearsal?

Sure, Mandy.

By the way, sorry: I did see you in the prop room now that you mention it, so that means that I forgot and it is therefore my fault.

Here are the sizes and colors:

For the price of $22.00, I would like two large shirts, one jade short-sleeve, and one black long-sleeve.

Thank you very much.

I am told that Brian isn't part of the band now, so could he do the audio? Everyone who has ever had even the slightest bit of experience with sound is being forced to act so you don't have much of a choice.

Also, Ian, you should find schedules in a black binder in the top drwaer of the yellow cabinets in Bair's room

2:55 PM
Blogger Mr. Bair said...

Ian,

It will be $20. We went with a different t-shirt company.

Joey,

Will this be every Monday?

Matt,

Since there are still several billion people left in the world, I'm certain we can find someone.:) Brian's problem is scheduling.

Ian, Bair's wrong, he must not have seen the long sleeve part, the total is $22.00, you can add correctly.

Perhaps it says this in the schedule, but what time will the evening rehearsal end on Saturday?

I can make the rehearsal end for you at whatever time you need. Saturday evening is designed for us to do all the songs with the live band.

What time does the rehearsal start? I will plan around that.

Ian

PS: Thank you for giving me some leeway. That REALLY helps.

6:57 PM
Blogger Ian said...

By the way:

I ask what time it starts because my mom was hoping that I could be done by 4:00 if possible, but I think that that is probably around the time the practice begins (judging by the last Saturday rehearsal). Could someone please fil me in on the details?

Ian

7:09 PM
Blogger Mr. Bair said...

Ian,

Since Tallon can't get there until after 4:00, we can't start earlier. However, if I can get you there tomorrow evening, I can probably bypass you on Saturday.

MjB

P.S. Don't you like all the help you're getting.

8:00 PM
Blogger Ian said...

Yes, I do appreciate all the help very much. It makes everything a good deal easier, and I truly am sorry for the trouble. Believe me when I say that I am trying as hard as I can to pull everything together. I did not anticipate the amount of difficulty my involvement would cause. Also, please understand that I would not need as much help if I had a schedule. Without that, I have to rely 100% on everyone else to provide me with the necessary information. I will try to get one on Monday, and then no one but me will have to worry as much any more.

Regarding Saturday,

I'm sure that I can arrange to be there for at least some of the time considering how important it is to add the live band to the mix.
I just need to know what time exactly it will start. Obviously, without knowing the time it starts I won't be able to determine when it is reasonable to leave. When I mentioned 4:00, that was with the mindset that it might start at 12:00 or some other earlier time. I admit that I have no idea what Tallon's weekend schedule is, so I did not bear that in mind.

If it is not too much trouble to get by with only tomorrow night's rehearsal, that works too. I am trying to be as free with my time as I can (that is still obviously a limited frame). Just let me know what you want to do. I will do whatever I can to make it work.

Once again, I am truly sorry for whatever trouble I have caused and for the fact that you have to help me so much.

My grandmother passed away this morning and the services are scheduled for Saturday. This might affect my ability to be there as planned at 4:30. I will still be there, just maybe not quite as early. I'll let you know for sure when I get details.

This should not affect your starting time of practice. Most of the songs do just fine without bass. You can start before I get there, I promise, I won't be mad.
