POST NUMBER 1 "Oh Dad" for Public Consumption
KEEP READING BEYOND THIS POST. There are three posts for today. Make sure you read all three! It's hard to think in reverse, but I did, and these are actually in the right order. Thus, make sure you read all of them.
On Friday, March 11, at 7:30 PM, BHS Drama will be presenting Arthur Kopit's "Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mama's Hung You in the Closet, and I'm Feelin' So Sad." This student directed production is being offered as a gift in honor of my 20th anniversary as director at BHS. There is NO ADMISSION charge.
However, in order to attend, you must procure an invitation for the event. Anyone who wishes to attend, and/or invite someone, may. Prior to receiving an invitation, you must make certain that each person you invite is familiar with the content and the structure of the play. In context, the play is appropriate. Out of context, the play can very easily be misconstrued, and I'm not after that!
If you are an alumni of BHS Drama, and you wish to attend, all you need to do is arrive, be greeted by me, and that's all it will take. Please feel free to bring a guest or two, and make certain, if you would, that they understand that this is a play all Drama students read and study as part of the Existential Theater.
If you have any questions, contact me at BairMic@wcboe.k12.md.us. I will be posting this information on Facebook as well. Let me know!

Tuesday: 8:00
Wednesday: 5:30
Thursday: 6:00
I'll be somewhere between Decatur & Milwaukee for the run. Break legs. Congrats.
20 years. I... I don't know how I feel about that.
So...even if I don't get an invite I can show up based on you greeting me at the doorway? Sorry if thats a dumb question but I just like double checking.
What do you need me to compose?
Jason,
You probably feel like I do...what happened? Where did it go? Can I get it back? Most importantly, what happened to the music????? It's good hearing from you. Be safe and successful.

Joey,
You are invited. That's your invitation. Now, we'll see you at the door!
MjB
P.S. Get your sister to grab an invitation for you!
Ian,
I wish it were that easy. Can you arrange a nice version of "Greensleeves" for me? I have an idea! It would be a counter melody in two different time scales.
MjB
Yeah, that's no problem at all. Will you be at Boonsboro tomorrow at around 5? I'll drop in and we talk specifics.
Ian
I will be. That sounds great!
MjB
Can someone remind me to see if Ari's still out of town this Friday? I'm probably going to forget otherwise.
To my friends in "Oh Dad":
Plan to be here until 7:00 on Thursday, to account for feedback and any last minute things that must be done.
Oh Dad participants: Don't show up until 5:30 tomorrow unless told otherwise. Thank you.
