POST NUMBER 3 TEMPEST SCHEDULE
Hello...I am trying not to step on the "OH DAD...." toes this week, so all rehearsals for "The Tempest" this week are OPTIONAL for anyone involved in "OH DAD..." It is NOT OPTIONAL for everyone in "The Tempest", except for Monday and Tuesday. Please read carefully, and then, someone call Kevin and tell him to read it. Then, call him back and see if he understood it. Finally, call him an hour later and see if he retained the information.
MONDAY: Optional Read Through of the Final Draft. I would love to read it aloud and search for those random mistakes and lines that just don't sound right to my ears. I will also offer character insights and clarify anything that keeps you from knowing your character immediately. (3:40-5:00) Again, this is optional.
TUESDAY: CHARACTER EXPLANATIONS and EXPECTATIONS DAY. I will sit with each character and establish clear expectations for what I expect from each one of you. Each conversation will take from 5-10 minutes. Thus, if you can't make it, that's fine. I would love to see as many of you as possible, but I am not making this mandatory. No scheduled time because once I'm finished with you, I'm finished with you. This is optional.
WEDNESDAY: STEPHANO, TRINCULO, and CALIBAN. We will try to block at least one scene, but mainly, we will begin working on the necessary chemistry between these characters. We will also begin working on accents, voice qualities, etc. 3:40-5:00.
THURSDAY: "Oh Dad..." for Drama classes.
FRIDAY: "Oh Dad..." for alumni and friends/family
START MEMORIZING LINES NOW! The schedule for due dates will be forthcoming....

Kevin has been called.
Indeed he has.
I am so excited!
Mr. Bair, are you in need of my assistence for anything this week? I'm available for the Wednesday rehearsal if so.
