Yeah....Well....Ummm.....

Will, Ana, and Ryan asked me to post something, and for the life of me, I can't remember what it is. I can tell you that the third play will be "The Ugly Duckling." I can also clarify the audition process for you. It will work like this:

1. You are NOT auditioning for a play. You are auditioning for three plays. The directors will cast accordingly. You will, WISELY, accept a casted part unless there is some reason that I know about in advance why you shouldn't or won't accept it.

2. You will receive little or no time to look at the script. The directors know what they're looking for, and they will make that clear. Do what they ask.

3. Each director will provide a summary of their plays for you tomorrow. I didn't tell them that today, but I just did now.

Otherwise, I want to express my sincere admiration for the films that I saw today. The editing is marvelous. These projects LOOKED like a film, and they felt like a film. I'm still struggling with audio, and I wish that we could clean the audio better. I realized that some of you tried with this project.

I would also like to commend the writers of the films. It's an amazing feeling to see your "baby" become a reality. You should be proud. I am.

P.S. What was I supposed to post?

I have a good scene for my main characters bair, but I can't find a scene with both the main and sub characters. I can find one with sub-characters and sub-sub-characters, as well as a scene with sub-sub-characters and main characters, but none with all 3. Could I maybe have 2 smaller scenes so I can try out all of the characters? If not, thats ok, I can manage, but if possible that would be very useful. Thanks!

Everyone is auditioning tomorrow. EVERYONE. Mr. Blickenstaff, you need to get on stage in order to understand what others go through. Will, Ryan, Ana....ONE SCENE. Make it work. If you need to see something else, you can see it on Friday during class.

Ryan, no luck on the online script. I knew that I had found a collection of Milne's stuff online (www.gutenberg.org is a great public domain site), but it doesn't include that play. The reason the others are online is that they were not copyrighted in the United States and therefore public domain. Our country, however, has a silly little rule about nothing copyrighted after 1922 falling into the public domain unless it is renewed... stupid law...

The two of you cannot wilt. I am not permitting it. We have worked mighty hard over the course of your lives to teach you how to be more confident. Now, stop this insecure stuff. Get a grip, try harder, and SUCCEED!

Well...I just went to use the Drama video camera for the transfer of some film, and guess what, the piece that attaches to the battery charger to the camera is missing. That's right. This is the same piece that we lost before, and I paid to have replaced. Someone...anyone...tell me that you have it. Please...

Nope...you Mr. Blickenstaff are getting onstage. Sorry. That's a definite prerequesite for being a director in your future. No actor will respect you until you know what it's like to be onstage speaking in front of a live audience. You can still produce. I was not referring to you as the "wilter."

Don't be Gore, Gantz. Don't be Gore :) You know what the difference is between Al Gore and a three-week old puppy? The puppy will eventually stop whining.

ATTENTION ALL BORED PEOPLE:
I need extras for one wrap up shot for my movie. Filming will be some time early next week. Anybody that's bored (this means you, Drama 2's) let me know if you can help and what days.

Oh, Brennan, you know I'm kidding. Besides, to quote the great S. William Leverett, "You have to agree that my point of view is valid -- you're a Democrat!" No, but seriously, let me know if you need help with anything. I know my schedule's hectic, but I'll gladly help with anything that I can fit in.

Brennan: Gore was the one who said he won due to the recount. Bush was the one who really did win. Ergo, Erin is Gore, Scott and I are Bush.

Scott: I guess you're right. I like your idea, but no matter what the outcome is, we still know that we really won.

Let's get one thing straight--Al Gore did not invent the internet. Al Gore never claimed to have invented the internet. What he did do was introduce legislation that eventually provided funding to make the technology of the internet--which up till that time was purely military--available to the public. So were it not for Al Gore, we might not have this lovely spot to bicker on. For more on this subject, read "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them--A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" by Al Franken. I'll give you five bucks if you can find a single lie on Franken's part.
