REMINDER!

Your cover designs are due tomorrow. They need to be black line drawings that can be scanned, or they need to be in a digital format. Producers, make sure they are finished.

P.S. I also haven't heard anything about biographies, and I haven't seen anyone working on a program. What's occurring?

I know Maura and Amanda have already formatted questions for their group's bios and want them turned in by Friday. I won't be in school tomorrow, so unless someone in "Ugly Duckling" is feeling spunky and would like to format bio questions, I'll have ours handed out on Thursday to be emailed to me over the weekend. We decided that each group would do its own bios. Ana's play bios will be in question/answer format. I'll reformat ours as paragraphs. Chris, you might want to do the same with your group's. I'm also using tonight to type UP (that one's just for you, Bair) a cast list for "Ugly Duckling" that can be used in the press release. I'll email it to Mr. Bair tonight.
Ryan is doing synopsis and director's notes for our group. I assume the other groups have that covered as well. Ryan, have it by Monday.
Super Producer, out.

I've sort of started director's notes, but Im not exactly sure where to go with it. Would you happen to have some old programs that I could look at?

Scott,

Yes. As of this moment, I haven't transfered your tapes. We have had camera problems. Your visit is fine. Let me know when.

Chris should be handling the biographys, though I'm unsure of his status. We will be doing question answer format, and I will have the directors notes, synopsis, and cast list done by tommorow.

Yay! Kristen, am I still typing the publicity poster thing that you talked to me about. I would be glad to do it...just need the info

Okay,
The "publicity poster thing" that K Dawg was referring to was actually our press release, and I'd like to know the same thing. I know we're using one for all three plays, but has anybody started formatting it yet? I emailed Mr. Bair our cast list in case anyone wanted to do it today. Sorry, K Dawg, I should have been more clear about it. See what happens when you miss a day?

Gantz,
I am glad you invented the internet. I'll be even more glad if you can tell me what I have to watch out for on bag filling day on THIS SATURDAY! (deep breath) Yeah, stressing out just a little. Will I get yelled at by the Powers That Be if we don't have exactly the number of people that were on our registration card? If we, say bring TEN TO TWENTY MORE??!! (VERY deep breath) iwillnotstressout, iwillnotstressout, iwillnotstressout. So, yeah, let me know how Carnegie Mellon is.

Scott,
To answer your questions:
The time Bair posted for me we were in school and he was already signed in so it was just easier.
As for the cape, I'd just really like one to keep. A Bday present. :)
YAY! Scott comes home tomorrow.
Will you be home at such a time as to visit us poor mortals who are still stuck in that thing called high school?

"PETE" WRAP-UP FILMING:
I need Corey, Rachel, and one other person at the tree at two o'clock on Saturday to finish filming the tree scene. I also need Rachel and as many extras as I can get in class tomorrow for some in school shots. Rachel, bring the goth costume. That includes Shelby's pants. Then filming will be done (Horay!)

Mr. Bair,
I don't think the lack of posts is due to the new blogs. I think people are just so busy, that they just check it and run. We were commenting so much before because we were all anxious about the production starting. Now that it (they?) has started, we just want to get down to business and get it done. There. I left a nice long post.

Mr. Bair,
I need a few yards of gray fabric to make the costume alterations we discussed today and to sew a blouse. I also need a pattern for said blouse. Do I have your approval to buy on Drama's nickel?

I need a dollar value Kristen. I once said "yes" to that kind of request and was stuck with a monstrous bill. How much?

P.S. The producers are supposed to present me with a budget. This would make life easier. Work on that.

My purchases should not exeed $20. If they do, I'll pay the rest out of my own money. I wish I could give you a more precise amount, but I don't know the exact prices, and I don't have time to go shopping twice.

Okay, for some reason I can't seem to comment on Ana's blog, so I'll put this on the big one. I need Rachel, Corey, and Amanda after school for about a half an hour on either Monday or Tuesday. We really, really, really need to finish filming for "Pete." Is there a day that works better for Ana and Ryan?

Blogger Mr. Bair said...

Kristen,

$20 is fine, but I think you're missing the point. I told your directors and the producers that you need a budget. A budget is a prediction of how much total money is needed for your production, and where you are spending the money. I'm not asking you to spend any of your money.

Also,
I made out like a bandit at Wal-Mart. I got all the fabric I'll need, a pattern that will work, and ribbon to use for trim all for about $12.

Ah Brennan...I love a sale. Good work. Deeanna is supposed to use the camera, but we can work something out.

Gantz, I actually won't be there on Wednesday, which is a shame because I'm still trying to figure out how the pattern fits together. For the first time EVER, my family is going out of town for Thanksgiving. As for "security," though, I probably shouldn't say this on a public site, but Mr. Bair's door is typically unlocked at 2:00.

For the record, my door is unlocked every day at the change of classes. All visitors must "sign in" at the front of the building. Brian Kough comes each day to "help" me, and he goes through the proper channels. Go through the proper channels. We need your help with....sewing.

Okay, in the absence of any input from Ana and Ryan, I'm going to tentatively schedule filming for "Pete" for 3:30-4:15 on Tuesday. Can we get the drama camera? I'll also need Rachel, Corey, and Amanda.

Blogger Mr. Bair said...

Again, Kristen, the camera is dependent upon Deeanna. She requested it, so we'll work it out with her.
